Why Should I Remove A Tree Stump?
Stump grinding is the most efficient way of removing a tree stump or hedge roots to ensure it will not grow back.
Some customers don’t always have the stump removed when a tree is felled as some Tree Surgeons don't offer this service. However old stumps can become a trip hazard, unsightly, infected with disease and unwanted insects, as well as take up a large part of your garden.
Removing a tree stump can prepare the ground for driveways, fencing, paving and replanting turf etc.

How To Remove A Tree Stump
The stump grinder has a large cutter wheel with carbide teeth.
This is positioned close to the stump and lowered progressively whilst panning left to right until the stump is ground out.
The grinder will remove the stump well below ground level.
Some of the grindings are used to backfill the hole, the remaining grinding will be left and will provide excellent mulch and compost.
However, if you wish us to remove them, please inform us and this can be arranged.
Our stump grinders can work in small areas and fit through most narrow gates.

The work site will be assessed and made safe with safety barriers and mesh to ensure the wood grinding does not spread.
We are fully insured and have a great deal of experience.
We also offer contactless payment where required.
We are Independent owner/operator therefore able to follow social distancing rules of working alone. As working outside there is no need for customers to be nearby. Customers can feel safe staying indoors, discussing any requirements over the phone or near a window.

We’re super excited to announce that our long awaited Bandit SG40 stump grinder had finally arrived from USA!!
Ordered in January and delayed with Covid, delivered by Global Recycling.
It’ll join our trusty FSI B20 machine which can tackle multiple stumps and has the benefit of fitting through narrow gateways. Our new Bandit has more horsepower to tackle larger stumps with ease and benefits from being on tracks for tricky terrain.
